BOSTON — February 25, 2026 — The Massachusetts Senate dispatched a brief procedural session February 25, passing two local bills and extending deadlines for a pair of standing committees before adjourning in minutes. The chamber unanimously passed House Bill 4272 authorizing the town of Hudson to grant an additional wine and malt beverage license and House Bill 4701 authorizing the town of Orange to expand its Board of Selectmen, with both bills advancing to the Governor. Acting on reports from Assistant Majority Leader Joan B.
